Aloha all - got this in my mail from the Woodland Exploreres Group and thought some of you and your families might like this event.
"This month we are turning the tables on the wildlife. Normally it’s the owls that do the hunting, but at our next event we are going to go out hunting for owls (in the nicest possible sense of the word!). We’ll meet at the entrance to Bluebell Wood by the Dalgety Bay Art Club building at 7 p.m. on Saturday November 14th. Make sure you wrap up warm, and bring torches and binoculars if you have them, though we can also provide them. Although we have a good chance of finding tawny owls in Bluebell Wood, there is always the possibility that we will be unlucky, in which case we intend to widen our search to some of the other woods in the Bay. We expect the walk to last no longer than an hour and a half, it may well be less if we find the owls quickly.
We were delighted to welcome several new members to the group for our trip to Kinghorn in October, and they were rewarded with a variety of sea beasties, including starfish, sea anemones, hermit crabs and more brittle stars than you can shake a stick at (which we didn’t do, because we love animals).
If you have any queries, e-mail Kim at ja.blasco@btinternet.com or contact either Kathryn Green on 822370 or Kim Blasco on 825195. All our events are suitable for children aged 6 and above (but if you have a younger child who you think might enjoy it, they can of course come along too), parents also always very welcome."
I was finding the old site a 'little quirky'. So we are re-housed here for the time being. We should be able to load pictures here easily and stop get annoying lines of html code turning up on pages!

Many thanks Paul.
